What is the optimum required dose?
Scientific studies have shown that an effective Omega-3 dose for dogs is between 40-80 mg/kg bodyweight per day (20-40 mg/lb bodyweight). The minimum daily intake for a 10 kg or 20 lb dog should therefore be 400 mg Omega-3 per day.
