| Doils Health Oil is a highly concentrated, purified deep sea fish oil to which a high dose of Vitamin E has been added. It is used in dogs. Thanks to special extraction processes, the degree of pollutants from heavy metals, PCB’s, dioxins and other toxins is much lower than the minimum standards set by the World Health Organisation (WHO). This makes our product exceptionally pure and therefore, very safe for your pet.
Fish oil consists of many different fats, but only a few are important for the health of humans and animals. Fat molecules consist of three types of fatty acids that have different chemical structures depending on their origin. Fatty acids from red meat and poultry are saturated, while fatty acids from plants and fish are mostly unsaturated. These unsaturated fatty acids are important for human and animal health, especially the poly-unsaturated ones (called PUFA). There are two important PUFA groups : Omega 3 and Omega 6. Within the Omega 3 group, the most important fatty acids are EPA and DHA. |
