Animals taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or drugs that have an effect on blood clotting could theoretically have longer bleeding times. Experimental research in dogs has not shown this to occur. For safety reasons, however, we advise you stop giving Omega 3 supplements one week before any planned surgery and restart one week after the operation. |
